Binoculars, birdwatching, and photographic hunting in Liguria: an interview with Gian Pietro Pittaluga

Questa settimana ho intervistato GianPietro Pittalunga, birdwatcher e fotografo ligure. Gian Pietro è molto attivo su Facebook .

Ciao Piergiovanni, un caro saluto a tutti gli amici di Binomania. Esatto! Quando dieci anni fa ho sentito il bisogno di dedicare tempo e passione alla foto naturalistica,  già esisteva Liguriabirding che era ed è sostenuta da altri tre pilastri: Ennio Critelli, Sandro Divano e Gabriella Motta. I lettori possono vedere il nostro gruppo visitando questa pagina.

Mi hanno accolto, sopportato le mie mille domande e fatto crescere.

La Liguria fa parte del Santuario dei Cetacei ed è un posto meraviglio per il whalewatching. Per gli amanti del birdwatcher, quali specie importante è possibile avvistare?

Penso sia importante da seguire, anche per i numeri rilevanti, la migrazione pre e post nuziale dei Bianconi: le aquile cacciatrici di serpenti.

Hai una particolare avvistamento da raccontarci, che ti ha sorpreso?

Lo scorso inverno siamo rimasti tutti stupiti per diversi avvistamenti di Organetto e poi in primavera una vera invasione di Storni rosei!!!

 

Sei anche appassionati di digiscoping e di caccia fotografica o osservi solo con il binocolo?

Osservo  con il binocolo, con lo spottingscope e possibilmente fotografo.

Un’ultima curiosità: con quali strumenti ottici osservi? Mi hai parlato di un binocolo e di uno spottingscope.

Attualmente uso uno Zeiss Victory SF 10×42 di cui sono molto contento e un telescopio terrestre Zeiss che fornisce 75 ingrandimenti massimi. Ha una resa dei colori molto naturali ed è nitido e contrastato.

Pratico raramente la tecnica del digiscoping.
