Remember a few months ago, I posted an offer from MHZOutdoor for a splendid example of a Fujinon 25×150 EM angled scope?
Well, Angelo Pantano sent me some pictures of the specimen that was hanging out at his shop in Rimini, since a lucky enthusiast bought it to enjoy the celestial immensity.
Heartfelt compliments to this true binophile for his good taste. Good observations.
I also thank MHZOutdoor for providing the images of this stunning but rare angled version.
I am publishing this example, which is now rare, as Fujinon has decided to build it only on order.
“The largest long-distance astronomical observation instrument, the Fujinon 25×150 EM binoculars It is a gigantic unit with a large-aperture 150 mm objective lens and a 45° angle eyepiece. It is probably the best low-magnification deep-sky observing instrument in the world. It is adored by Japanese astronomers.
Fujinon has applied its multi-layer anti-reflective EBC coatings to every surface of the lens and it is also sealed for extreme resistance to the elements.
