After a two-year absence from Corrado Morelli's legendary refuge, the Binomania events are back, and this time it will be with a... bang.

Thanks to the collaboration of Markus Ludes of APM-Telescopes It will be possible to preview the new APM 120 SD binoculars.

These binoculars, at least on paper, have exceptional features that could decree the new KING of both long-distance terrestrial observation and astronomical observation: large diameter, SD+ lanthanum glass for apochromatic visual performance, the possibility of using astronomical eyepieces and more.

Of course, various binoculars will be available, for example: Kowa Highlander Prominar 32×82, Docter Aspectem, Fujinon 25×150.

We're waiting for you with your best binoculars to challenge the new APM 120 SD! The Rifugio della Corte will also provide a secure storage area for your equipment.

Below are the offers with the two packages and the "three-day" program“

Three-day package.(Dinner and overnight stay on Friday the 26th, Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight stay on Saturday the 27th, Breakfast and lunch on Sunday the 28th) €85 per person. Children under ten pay €50.

Weekend package. (Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay on Saturday the 27th, breakfast and lunch on Sunday the 28th) €55 per person. Children: €30.

Plan.

Friday, August 26th.
After a dinner of local products, we will begin observing the summer sky at 10 pm in the company of the APM 120 SD and other giant binoculars.

Saturday, August 27th

Breakfast.
Terrestrial and solar observation.
Lunch based on typical local products.
Short hike in the green surroundings of the Refuge.
Observation from the refuge's splendid panoramic terrace starting in the late afternoon.
Dinner based on typical local products.
Followed by twilight and astronomical observation.

Sunday, August 28th

Breakfast.
Free observation
Lunch based on typical products.
Ritual greetings
Please note that the refuge will only have 14 beds during this period, so we recommend booking early. If additional bookings are made, it will be possible to sleep in another refuge just 3 km from the event site. The same treatment will be guaranteed.

For those wishing to bring their own astronomical equipment, two discreet viewing areas will be available, in front of and above the refuge, where you can observe in complete tranquility!

How to reach the refuge.
Distance from Morbegno: 15 km (25 minutes by car)
              from Sondrio 40 km (45′ by car)
              130 km from Milan (2 hours by car via Lecco, Colico, Morbegno)
By car: up to Morbegno, then the road to Valgerola up to Rasura where you turn right and
follow the signs to the Corte refuge.
