New Swarovski Optik CL Companion: official announcement.

October 2, 2017 by Piergiovanni Salimbeni

Improved observation, ease of use, personalized style – on November 6, 2017, SWAROVSKI OPTIK launched the CL Companion, the latest generation of travel and leisure binoculars. The latest addition to the CL family marks a new milestone in advanced optics and mechanics. The binoculars are easy to use and, in addition to extraordinary image quality, also guarantee excellent viewing comfort. Thanks to their special features, the CL Companion is the perfect companion for anyone who wants to feel free to go further, for anyone who wants to fully enjoy every moment of travel or leisure.

“Wherever you use the new CL Companion, you will live the moment to the fullest. While kayaking, hiking in a nature reserve, or gazing at a breathtaking panorama, your eyes and the binoculars will work together in complete harmony. The observer becomes one with nature as the eye enters a new dimension.” This is how Carina Schiestl-Swarovski, Chair of the Executive Board of SWAROVSKI OPTIK, describes the advantages of these compact binoculars, designed to meet the specific needs of the travel and leisure market.

Seeing: A new concept of optics for unique moments

A special feature of these binoculars is the new balanced optics concept, which guarantees the user unforgettable observation comfort with high-contrast, extremely sharp images and natural colors. The CL Companion also offers an astonishing 132-meter field of view, for new and fascinating discoveries.

Feel: Easy handling for maximum comfort

Intuitive, ergonomic, and beautifully crafted, the CL Companion is truly the perfect companion. The binoculars are both rugged and lightweight thanks to their slim, compact design and solid magnesium alloy body. The quick-release, rotating carrying strap easily adjusts to your every move. The CL Companion is available with two magnifications (8x30 or 10x30) and in two colors: green or anthracite.

Create: Individual accessory packages

The accessory packages are inspired by nature and are as unique as the CL Companion users. They all come with a multifunctional case with a strap and carrying strap for the binoculars. While aesthetically pleasing, these high-quality accessories match the style and colors of the binoculars while also providing maximum protection. Customers can choose from three different designs—NORTHERN LIGHTS, URBAN JUNGLE, and WILD NATURE—and choose the package that best suits their personal style. Like most SWAROVSKI OPTIK binoculars and spotting scopes, the CL Companion can easily be connected to a SWAROVSKI OPTIK mobile phone adapter. This makes it an extraordinary tool for making the most of close-up encounters in nature, allowing you to instantly capture and share special moments.

CL Family: The popular travel and leisure companion from SWAROVSKI OPTIK
The CL family was launched in 2011 with the CL Companion. Since then, SWAROVSKI OPTIK has offered nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts a range of binoculars that offer a perfect, uncompromising combination of optical quality and compact size. CL binoculars have become trusted companions for all travel and leisure activities and are among SWAROVSKI OPTIK's most successful products.
