Video review of the Oberwerk BT-70XL-ED binoculars

Negli ultimi anni è sbocciata la passione nei confronti dei binocoli angolati in grado di utilizzare oculari di varia focale. Sempre piu’ lettori che osservano con il classico binocolo 8×42, mi contattano per avere qualche consiglio per gli acquisti.  Anche molti astrofili iniziano ad affiancare se non addirittura a sostituire il proprio telescopio con uno strumento ottico così universale e rapido da gestire come il binocolo angolato di medio-grande diametro. Proprio per questo motivo ho deciso di proporre una videorecensione di uno degli ultimi esemplari arrivati qualche settimana fa in Italia, del binocolo l’Oberwerk BT-70 XL-ED. Come avrete presagito possiede ottiche ED a bassa dispersione, un diametro degli obiettivi di 70 mm e costa, attualmente, 1199 EURO con una coppia di oculari e tre anni di garanzia, inclusi nel prezzo. MERITS

DEFECTS

  • I tappi in metallo alla lunga possono rovinare la vernice satinata all’interno del tubo.à
  •  Per un uso anche naturalistico prediligerei la versione grigia e non sarebbe male che oberwerk allestiste una versione camouflage.

 

IN SUMMARY

L’Oberwerk 70 XL ED si è dimostrato un valido binocolo angolato, possiede ottiche ED di buona qualità, la resa dei colori è neutra, la nitidezza e il contrasto sono elevati. Si presta non solo alle osservazioni terrestri e stellari a bassi ingrandimenti ma anche per intrattenere amici e appassionati su soggetti celesti come la Luna o i pianeti più’ grandi, mostrando sempre dettagli interessanti in proporzione al diametro.
 
Un plauso, inoltre, ai nuovi oculari che evitano il problema della collimazione dovuta ai barilotti dal bordo scanalato (che è una delle cause principali di disallineamento) e che sono un ottimo compromesso fra nitidezza, contrasto, estrazione pupillare, campo inquadrato e contenimento delle aberrazioni geometriche.

Questo binocolo potrebbe essere un valido acquisto per chi possiede già un telescopio da almeno 150- 200 mm e che vuole saggiare il mondo dei binocoli angolati con ottiche a bassa dispersione, senza spendere cifre elevatissime.
