I tested a pair of 140 euro binoculars! Video review of the Yukon Solaris 16×50

November 20, 2020 by Piergiovanni Salimbeni

This time I decided to fulfill the wishes of some young enthusiasts who asked me to try out a pair of binoculars costing less than 140 euros.

For this reason, among the many options, I chose the Yukon 16×50.

Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Lithuania, "YUKON ADVANCED OPTICS WORLDWIDE" offers affordable instruments, even for the novice enthusiast. The company offers three specific brands: Yukon, dedicated to the consumer market for both hunting and nature observation; the Pulsar series, aimed more at the professional sector (law enforcement, tactical, search and rescue); and the Newton series, which includes various night vision devices for the mass market. It also collaborates with Bushnell, Bresser, Night Owl, Nikon, and other companies as a world leader in the OEM production of NV (night vision) systems.

For more information on Yukon products, you can visit the official website of the Italian distributor: https://www.adinolfi.com/

Binomania Inside

Before a final review is published, each instrument is analyzed through repeated tests, direct comparisons, and field tests.

In Binomania Inside I share these preliminary stages: test notes, initial impressions, technical comparisons, previews and rumors, useful for understanding advantages, limitations and real suitability of an instrument before a purchase choice.
