condivido con voi il messaggio ricevuto questa sera da Pal, l'ottico di CFF telescopes presso il quale ho ordinato quasi un 2 anni fà un tubo ottico 200mm F/8 apo.
Allegato il test ottico dell'obiettivo.
Se tutto va bene (forse) mia moglie andrà a prendere il telescopio alla fiera AME 2016 poichè io purtroppo. come al solito, saro' in USA per lavoro...
Mi sarebbe piaciuto portarlo allo star party di Saint Barthelemy...quindi alla prossima notte dei lunghi tubi lo si potrebbe provare insieme (nel caso qualcuno portasse una montatura...)

please take a look at the attached interferogram result. I send it in two different image formats, just to be sure...
The Strehl ratio is 99,4%. This is probably the best lens of this size existing today. Or at least I doubt that in this size anyone else would take the bother to figure a lens to this quality.
Better than lambda/10 PV error ... even I am surprised!
The figuring of this lens went surprisingly well and the result is unbelieveable.
I really hope everything will be OK with the coating and soon you will have the best 200mm APO ever...
